So I guess I'll have to start by talking about the beginning of this ridiculous adventure which was our wedding. Well a bit after. Lets just say we got hitched on New Years Eve 2008, honeymoon in Dominocan Republic...

"yada yada yada"...we were sitting in Dr. Rhamadka's office being reassured of how cautious we are when all of a sudden an ungraceful, untactful nurse clicked the heavy door open and stated very matter of factly (in a nasally tone)"Test is positive".And there we sat, shocked. Our doctor? she appeared to be equally shocked. There were tears, and then big huge smiles erupted (gosh I'll never forget that) as we realized that we didn't have our future as mapped out as we thought we did. Best-friends; newlyweds;lovers; parents.

and yes it did scare us, but it excited us more. Not because we knew what we were doing--because we didn't-- but because we knew it was o.k. and good and right... and that ultimately the Lord would give us the strength and ability to raise this little bean growing inside of me.
