We like discovering new music. Everywhere. You'll be reading a lot about music here, I'm sure. A joy in this has been exposing our children to a lot (see: too much) new music for their little ears today. Today I've been playing them some Alan Mills, a 20th Century folk singer from the Maritimes of Canada. Although much of his music focuses on regional (Maritime, Quebec, etc) folk tunes he has several really great children's songs. (He even wrote 'There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" and i know you know that one!). We love his folksy voice and charm, and his connection to Patricia's homeland makes it even more enjoyable. But don't take it from us...
