Growth and Change

In wondering what to do, how to have an outlet, to help with our most recent transition, I (Josh/Dad/"Fahthah") pondered a new blog and began scanning my mind for previous blog adventures/mishaps. I find that blogs start out fine and heady and then...fade away. All this to say is, why invent something new if something good already exists that can perhaps be, shall we say, revived?

It's been three years since Patricia wrote in this blog, detailing snapshots of our life. Surprisingly since that time, absolutely nothing has happened.

Certainly not two big moves, several medical issues, the birth of Simon, several job transitions, our graduation from Dallas Theological Seminary...I think those are the more significant points, anyways. Lord knows what else we'll remember...

Some of this blog will inevitably now have to be catch-up. Other posts will be current happenings. It'll be good, I hope. I hope at least that in a year we will have gained some positive momentum...

So where were we? April 2011 we were preparing for a move from Burleson, TX to Dallas.

In other words we went from this:

to this....

Now we're living (back) here:

...but I'm getting way ahead of myself.

Except I'm not really, because this is what's happening now. So allow Patricia and I, if you will the time to freely update on life as it is, where it's going, and where we've been.
